What a week it’s been as Aleo made its home at Devconnect, a week-long gathering of independent Ethereum events. The highlight? Aleo zkHouse, a haven for zero-knowledge (ZK) enthusiasts at the stunning SoHo House Istanbul.

🌐 Learning, Building, Pitching — and Magic! From deploying DApps to pitching ZK projects and enjoying a Turkish-inspired party with a world-renowned magician, developers immersed themselves in the magical possibilities of ZK.

📚 Learn & Earn: Developers explored the basics of Leo’s programming language, applying it to tasks like creating programs, writing tests, and building full-stack private DApps. Rewards of up to $600 were earned.

💻 Hacker House: Day two featured a Hackathon where developers co-built DApps, receiving expert guidance from the Aleo Team. $24K in bounties were awarded to the Hackathon winners.

🎙️ Panel Discussions: Day three included talks on the latest cryptography research, hardware, and app development. Aleo CEO Alex Pruden and industry leaders covered ZK’s role in digital identity, secure AI and ML apps, and on-chain gaming.

🚀 SNARK Tank: 18 teams pitched ZK project ideas to investors, competing for a share of the $200K prize pool. Categories included gaming, identity & authentication, and zeFi.

🎩 Introducing Enigma, zkCat NFT, and The Aleo Cap

• Enigma: Aleo launched a first-of-its-kind game where developers solved intricate puzzles built on Aleo.
• Aleo x Icebreaker: zkCat NFT: Attendees received an Icebreaker wristband to activate their evolving zkCat, changing appearance and metadata.
• The Aleo Cap by 9dcc: A uniquely designed cap with Aleo branding, featuring chipped digital engagement technology.

💰 Over $300K Awarded! zkHouse connected people, empowered projects, and awarded over $300K in prizes. The stats speak for themselves — attendees, Github link submissions, and total rewards handed out.
